Role Call: Aqua, Blazing Arrow, Crete, Coriolis, Orion, Super Freak

Aqua comes to town. Transfer from Seattle, asks about dead fish.
Meets Superfreak at base. He's there after finding message from Coriolis. They hear a large boom a few blocks away and rush to the scene.

Orion is working in the SWORD base when he hears a boom a few floors down. He looks outside and sees Crete & Crystal locked in combat, but Crystal jumps away. He rushes off after changing into his heroic form.

They both arrive in time to see Crystal flung back to the street by Coriolis who had arrived just in time to see Crystal try to get away. She doesn't see him (since the GM can't make a per roll for a villain) and he clobbers her.

Aqua and Orion introduce themselves to the other heroes.

The SWORD agents take her away to be put in restraints. Blazing Arrow consults the spirits and knows she will not awaken for 7 hours.

Question her: She implicates Patricia Jones (The CEO of N-Tech) who will be arriving back in Portland this evening. The team decides to meet the airplane. Coriolis and Orion ride the airplane while the rest of the team waits in a remote corner of the airport where the plane will be directed. Crete creates a concrete stairwell and the team enters the plane. Patricia seems to be expecting them and goes willingly. Crete notices Patricia look at Orion with a bit of shock, but she composes herself before anyone else notices. (Maybe the GM shouldn't make per rolls for anyone...) Aqua carries her bag for her and seems to treat this suspected villain of possibly being innocent. After a bit of discussion on the tarmac, the team goes out of the airport to a nearby Starbucks.
The rest of the customers drift away and after quite a lengthly conversation where some of the heroes try to get Patricia to admit to wrong doing, while Aqua and Crete try for a more reasonable approach. Patricia talks about her history and does a good job of convincing the more reasonable members, but Coriolis & Blazing Arrow thinks it just might be a well rehearsed story.
Blazing Arrow decides he needs to commune with nature and says good night. He glances at the sky and sees what appears to be a shooting star coming toward the cafe'.

Fight ensues:
Crete whisks the barrista off to safety.
Blazing Arrow chokes Patricia who is stunned by this event.
Blow-out whips up most of the debris in the area and peppers the area. Superfreak easily steps off to the side while Aqua allows the debris pass through her. The rest of the team is behind cover as the various rocks and such break the windows and weakens the walls. Superfreak gets blown up by Burn-out.
Coriolis scoops up Patricia and Superfreak to bring them to safety. Orion blinds Burn-out with his Nullifier blast. Chill-out freezes Aqua solid, but as she has control of her forms in any state she not hindered.

Blow-out tries to slow down Coriolis from taking Patricia & Superfreak away, but Coriolis doubles back on her and smashes her back into the cafe'. Blazing Arrow then shoots her with an arrow knocking her out. Orion gets smacked across the parking lot by Break-out. Aqua englobes Chill-out & Burn-out in a large quantity of water. Chill-out drops her cold temperature zone to avoid being encased in ice, but Burn-out vaporizes the water around herself.

Superfreak has recovered by now, but is instructed to guard Patricia from harm (and to make sure she doesn't get away.)
After a bit, Superfreak takes her to a safer venue which supplies food as well. Burgerville eventually gets the order to him. Patricia instructs them to get the order out as they get them ready. After a few rounds, she gets her order along with the first 1/2 dozen of Superfreak's meals. She enjoys her burger as Superfreak runs up to the counter every so often to pick up his other orders. (More on what happens here later...)

Coriolis noting that Chill-out isn't surrounded by her protective snowstorm tackles her, but is nearly frozen by her touch. Chill-out is momentarily stunned by the force of the blow.

Crete comes out of the ground to smack Break-out and they begin to trade haymakers.

Feeling the need to warm up, Coriolis then hits Burn-out who sails through the wall of the hair salon nearby. Aqua takes the opportunity to send shards of ice at her that seem to causes Burn-out more distress than the blow that tossed her through the wall. Burn-out attempts to fry Aqua, but Aqua dives out of the way just in time.

Coriolis then clips her again with a mighty blow that sends her through two more walls, but he passes out from the intense heat of her touch. As he attempts to get up again she lets loose with an intense blast that makes sure he stays down.

Orion takes over from Coriolis, but has to hunt for Chill-out in a blinding snow storm that quickly brings him down. Chill-out thinking he's been taken care of moves toward the main battle. (Another per roll failure!)

Crete who had been trading blows with Break-out, excuses himself to save his teammate's life for surely Burn-out may kill Coriolis if she hits him many more times. Crete finds that Burn-out is more dangerous to him than Break-out was for he can't seem to hit her and her flames cause him pain. Fortunately, Aqua finishes her off with another series of ice shards. Meanwhile, Blazing Arrow notes that Break-out may be vulnerable to his notorious choke hold and after a brief struggle subdues her with help from Orion.

Chill-out tries to get away, but is limited to her unenhanced running and is quickly trapped by Aqua & Crete.
